PRIVATE LESSONS

Students in the HPHS band program are highly encouraged to take private lessons. Because the Highland Park Bands are devoted to the study and performance of wind literature, members of this organization must gain the individual technique that is essential to this experience. As a student becomes more proficient, his/her enjoyment of music increases. Each musician will find that as the quality of individual playing improves, a greater body of literature is available for study and exploration. These students are rewarded with a richer and more meaningful musical experience.
